I would like t know when would be best to prepare Salmon w/Garlic Lemon for Sunday Lunch - Shavous.
I will keep my oven on but would prefer to make in advance - has anyone made it 3 days before does it keep well? Was thinking of a 2 1/2 lb side salmon.

Fresh is way better
Salmon can get tough when refrigerated
But I think baked salmon can last in the fridge for like 5 days to a week

I buy my salmon Thursday or Friday. On Tuesday I get slightly gassy from it. Sorry to be so graphic…

Can you prepare the sauce in advance and then just pour it on and bake the salmon in yom tov? This way it's much less work on shavuous itself.

I prefer baking it earlier than leaving it raw in the fridge for a few days. I made my salmon today and I am not nervous at all for it still to be delicious on Monday.
Raw fish becomes slimy after a few days.
