I was broiling fish and there was a steam residue that stuck to the door and the top of the door. Now I want to make a pareve potato kugel in the oven, that will be eaten with the meat main course.
Do I need to do anything to the oven? I wiped off the residue. I heard that if one is rushed on Friday one can burn out the oven by baking at 550 for an hour?
Please advise if anyone happens to know, or has their rabbi husband sitting right next to them.
