If you want to specifically sublet from a renter and not rent something short term, you’re better off saying which area you need and then you can be directed better

The downside is that usually the renter will need permission from the landlord to rent to you, which means the landlord has to approve of you.
Which means that you might think you are all set but then suddenly you find out you're not and in the meantime prices have gone up or you can't find an alternative.
