Hi!
Looking for a flip phone that's compatible with tello that I can TAG; remove browser etc.
Or any other cheap phone+plan for my son who is going out of town yeshiva and needs something basic. Any ideas? Seems like tello is cheapest option

Any unlocked phone can go with a Tello plan
Need to check if these can be Tagged.

Tracfone can also be an option with the basic phone costing about $20 and needs to be tagged. Their plans range from $10-20.
Otherwise, you can also buy from stores in Lakewood that ship and depending if he needs unlimited or is ok with limited amount of minutes, plan can be cheap. Tagged phones can range from $70-150 and the plan can range from $10-30. Let me know if you would like more info on that.

Tello has really cheap plans for like $7 a month if you don't need data

I have 2 phones.
Tello allows you to remove txt without tagging phone.
Cool pad snap - Tag ‘kashered’ it but couldn’t remove txt. I disabled txt through tello.

Nuu f4l - I think now tag can kasher it, used to not. Can turn off txt through tello. I ‘kashered’ it myself by removing the browser, Facebook and WhatsApp. But it’s a pain. https://forums.apps4flip.com/d.....f4l/8

I also think Kyocera it comparable. But didn’t try. It costs more then these options.
$7 plan is awesome. Can get for less if don’t use so many minutes. It’s month to month. No contract.
Tag can email you a list of taggable phones and then you can research prices snd which are compatable.

Tello no longer supports older phones. I recently had 2 phones disabled from them. So you do need to make sure will work on their network.
