My husband still remembers the boy in his bunk that wet the bed. And he doesn’t want this to happen with our 11 yo son. Any tips?

You’re not supposed to send without a plan.
Either medication which you try at home first or work to train him in the winter with various other methods (like alarm. probably too late for this summer).
BTDT and I didn’t send until the child was dry at night. You can’t risk such embarrassment.

Medication.
Must test at home to find the right dose. Differs for every kid.
I also sent my son with mens leak guards and mini garbage bags so he could throw out discreetly. But he didn’t need in end.

We used the desmo pill. Worked fine. Speak to your doc.

Speak to the camp mother. She might have a plan in place. My son was able to tell his counselor if he needed more time in the morning, and then the camp mother made the rounds and washed bedding while the boys were out of the bunk houses.
