Hi everyone.

Is coral gables part of Miami or Fort Lauderdale?

My family will be renting an air bnb in Coral Gables, Florida and invited us to join (DH, I and newborn). We've never been to Florida so I don't know too much information about it.

I tried looking online for information re minyanim and just found a chabad.
My husband will have a car. Where is there a shul around Coral gables he can go to for Shacharis mincha maariv? Also for shabbos.

Where is the closest kosher supermarket that also sells meat? Is there a supermarket like Gourmet Glatt or similar?

I believe it’s part of Miami- I think you would need to go to Miami proper for everything…I don’t think you will have a walking minyan on Shabbos

It is not part of Miami but part of Miami dade county. So it is very close to jewish shuls and restaurants .

It is not within walking distance of the regular orthodox shuls (besides chabad). This is a good twenty minute drive (at least) south of Miami Beach. Most of the jewish communities that most people know are north of miami beach or west. You can definitely drive to shuls and stores. There are not Gourmet Glatt style stores here but the Grove has a lot of food for the tourists. Otherwise there is Yes Market and Kosher Price which is in Miami Beach (closer than the Grove).

so my dh will drive to shuls during the week... any ideas what we can do for shabbos?

Any recommendations of weekday minyanim he can drive to ? (preferable if its a sefardi minyan)

great idea. waiting to get the address of the air bnb from my father.
I just emailed the chabad rabbi to ask about minyanim.

we dont know anyone else to stay by for shabbos I dont think we have a choice.

Do you know of a nice shul my husband can daven at during the week?
