I am looking for an apartment in Jerusalem for a month in the summer for a decent price. Where would be the best place for me to search?

Unfortunately, there are no better prices. Everything is sky high right now, in fact, 200 is the lower end of the spectrum

We just rented a 3-bedroom apartment in Yerushalayim for 3 nights. We paid 300 a night, but for longer stays I believe he charges less. This was the cheapest apartment we could find.

1 month is still considered short-term, so it would be expensive.
Remember it would usually include all amenities - you wouldn't have to pay for the electricity/ water/ gas, etc that you use.
That's part of the reason why it's more expensive.

They also expect tourists/ vacationers to leave the a/c on literally 24/7.

I found something in Har nof for $175 a night.
There are also a few choices in ramat beit shemesh .
I just went through the search process.
Email shisha realty, check vrbo and Airbnb. Vrbo and Airbnb will show you lots of hotels so try to filter and specify that you want a private apartment. If you want to use someone’s apartment where they move out and charge you to stay in their place, it’s usually a little cheaper and I found that those were more word of mouth that the locals knew about.

Why can't she sublet from someone going away to chutz l'aretz? Much cheaper. Especially if you're taking a month. Ramat Eshkol has a great newsletter. I can try to get you info if you pm.

Actually I see that it’s going for $120 per night. It’s on Airbnb but I don’t see that a full month for July and Aug are available. Maybe you can stay in 2 different places?
