It doesn't look great because most people look better with some hair framing their face, and with a pony all the shaitel here is pulled back.

I still do and I don't plan on ever stopping. Live in Bklyn btw. I actually think it makes me look prettier to have my hair in a pony. It accentuates my cheekbones.

Ii still see it around quite a bit and I think it looks really nice actually. Sometimes better than wearing a fall down with headband.

sometimes we don't have a choice. we have to cover our hair and we need to be comfortable. sometimes our looks take a back seat.

What's the difference? In terms of looks?

I have a pony sheitel that I specifically got for a summer trip to Israel knowing I'd be super hot and not wanting to wear a tichel. (Haven't worn it since). Besides this I've never owned a fall, only full sheitels so really no clue what's different.

I do all summer with a baseball cap.

It’s not even a fall. It’s a $15 hair extension from Amazon that I clip in back of my head. It covers the hole in the back of the cap and the hair on the sides of my pony. Then I add that hair to my pony, and put a $10 AliExpress wavy pony over my own.

Getting lots of complements and am pretty stylish.

I can't even count the number of times I tried this. The baseball cap simply does not cover enough of my hair. I'm not at all super makpid my Rav allows some side hair to show but this didn't even begin to cover half the sides

I wear a fall with a baseball cap in the summer and a fall with a beanie type cashmere hat all winter. My fall has ear pieces that cover the hair at my temple. I look cute and comfortable. And I am 52!
