Earrings for a kalla

Hi, can someone advise on the type of earrings I need to look for for a kallah?
I was invisioning a drop earings / small chandalere.
Someone is taking me to shop at a wholesaler and she is saying it's outdated.
The kalla is a petite, out of town girl who's not really into styles, but isn't out of it totally.
Would love to see links/ pictures.

Help! I'm new at this🙂

Studs/ on the ear are more in style.

Definitely ask the Kallah.
Just an FYI, if it was me, or my daughter, I would be opposed to exchanging, as even if I was told it was fine, I would definitely not want to offend. It is not to like some thing which will carry unnoticed, as her MIL will see the earrings forever and no it was exchanged, even if she is 100% OK with it. Much better to ask. I am not in those circles, can one set aside a bunch of different pairs and have the girl come and pick?

Can I ask? How can earrings be bought without trying them on first? Earrings is something that has to look good to a persons face. In our circles, the kallah goes to choose the earrings. She's told which store to go. The store is aware that the kallah will be coming and knows the budget you're willing to spend.

Take pictures of the earrings and send them to the kallah.
Even if studs are in style. A kallah gets hanging. Come on she's a kallah. Right? Doesn't she deserve what's nice.

Here's the thing: frum store prices bite.
I'm getting it from a wholesaler. I don't know that I'll be able to take the jewelry for a day or so.
I like the suggestion about asking her for a picture.

Why wouldn’t you give a choice. She’s the one that has to wear/use the item.

Earrings is a jewelry item that needs to be tried on by me. Some posts are too thick. Some are too short so when the post is pushed in make my ear feel squished. Some are too heavy. Some make it more obvious that my ears were pierced ever so slightly unevenly--so why would I ever choose those?

Most other jewelry I could look at a picture and see if I like, but not earrings.
