How much is a regular day camp vs backyard daycamp?

How much do each typically go for?
I called up a backyard daycamp in my neighborhood and they said it's $1000 a summer. Is that typical? If yes how does it compare to a regular day camp like BYBP or BYA? This is for nursery age. Thanks

1000 for a backyard is a bit on the higher end, but not crazy overpriced.

Bybp/bya are for sure much more expensive, probably at least 1600. But you can call and ask for exact numbers

In general its always cheaper to go with a backyard camp

I'm paying $800 for 3-4 year Olds in a backyard camp.

Regular calls take from 1700-2000

In my neighborhood it's 150 a week for 2-4 year old backyard camp. So the whole 6 week summer would be 900, how many weeks is the backyard camp for?

My daughter's chassidish daycamp in BP charges $835 for the summer.

That right yaffed! I keep screaming this. Despite the secular studies being a year behind they got more money than God.
Chasidish day camps are way cheaper and better.

I pay 2000 a summer for my boys.
1700 a summer for girls.
I'm sending my 3 year old to a chassidish day camp because I didn't want to spend more for a 3 hear old. I couldn't. And didn't find backyard camp, plus I wanted transportation and lunch. They are charging me 900 for the summer including trips and busses. Door to door, no corner stops! It's a breath of fresh air! I'm thinking of converting lol! My son speaks not a word of yidish. I told the camp and they said they will work with him he'll have a great time. Lol.

In far rockaway most day camps are at least 1600 for the summer. Most are 2000+ . The backyard ones are much cheaper because they aren't providing as much. My son loved the backyard day camp and I wish he hadn't grown out of it. Camp was much simpler when I was growing up and thus affordable.
