Just a heads up, I read an article about the new Pixar movie Lightyear, which comes out today, and that I was planning to take my kids to see it on Sunday (they love Toy Story and were looking forward to seeing this new movie). Well, good thing I read that article, because apparently there's a scene with two women kissing! 14 countries so far have said they will not allow it to be released because of it!

I know the trajectory things have been going in, and I've been more careful lately about pre-screening EVERYTHING because unfortunately you can no longer assume that something that is supposed to be for children is actually appropriate for children. Anyway, I'm sure I'm not the only one here who might have considered this movie for my kids, so consider this your fair warning about what's in it!

Also now I have to deal with my kids being very disappointed because I had to tell them we can't see this movie we were really looking forward to. I was vague about why, but I told them it turns out it was not as appropriate as advertised...
