The guy that scraped my parquet floors said Bona is good (over Murphy etc). How do you use it? It says put in a bottle and spray. How exactly do I give my floor a gooood washing with this detergent?

You want the liquid in the big bottle. Pour it in bucket and use a mop

You don't pour Bona on the floor. You use a the Bona mop which is a type of microfiber and spray it on the mop. If there is a particular area of grime then you might spray that portion and wipe up immediately.
You don't use a bucket or water with wood floors.
The real enemy of wood floors is grime and grit so you need to vacuum with the "wood floor" attachment and not the rug beater attachment which is too hard on wood
