When I weaned off my dd at the age of 18 months she really protested. After that I heard a couple of times that she makes nursing sounds in her sleep.
Well now 10 yrs later I shared a hotel room with her recently and she still makes these sounds in her sleep. It is a really loud clucking and maybe even gritting teeth. The sound of that sucking at the back of the mouth like when babies breastfeed.
Is it normal? Should we do something about it?
I kinda feel bad for weaning her off but she is 12 now…

Some of my kids do that too, even before they were weaned.
