Hi all! I was looking for a new cinnamon bun recipe and found this one online -

It has a lot of good reviews but the secret ingredient is heavy cream. It sounds yum but I don't want to make it milchig. Do you think I can use nondairy whip instead (not whipped, obviously)? If not, any other ideas of what I could use to get that same effect?
If not, can you share your best cinnamon bun recipe?

They recommend coconut cream as an alternative.
I use either Rich's whip ( unwhipped) but found corn syrup to be as effective. Pour on just before they go into the oven. Make them gooey and delicious. We're asked for our cinnamon buns all the time!
