Yes, I know.

The host or whatever who is showing us this, misheard. And repeated the line that he misheard at the end as though it held a special significance. But the way he was saying it, it was meaningless (besides, yes, someone presenting as male having an opinion on period products).

Regarding the bolded, I want to point out that there are men who buy period products for their wives or girlfriends or daughters or sisters so not sure what the fuss is about since it doesnt seem like he said he was buying it for himself. And I have seen tv shows where the man is uncomfortably buying tampons for his wife or significant other in that akward comedic way so its not unusual to have men buying tampons or period products. What is weird and inappropriate is that they would put it into a childrens show for kids too young to know what all this means. But that is the future as they will continue to put inappropriate things into childrens shows to expose young children to things they shouldnt be exposed to. Scary to think what the future holds for us. Hope Moshiach comes fast so we shouldnt have to deal with it.

Oh it was definitely implied that he was buying for himself, very heavily. He said "I like this kind" not "My wife or daughter" or whatever, and more than that, the pride flag shirt was definitely not an accident. It's possible not everyone here knows this but he was wearing the trans colors.

There's one guy who says "My daughter likes..." (Which, by the way, I think is an invasion of her privacy. But apparently these things aren't private.) Another says, "I prefer wings". For himself. Or herself.

as if flying under the radar
pushing the envelope
for the next incremental and not so incremental step
as we have seen

fits right in with the new language "birthing people" (!) "menstruating people" (!)
and further blurring of boundaries

desensitization for the youth chas v shalom

I work in educational publishing. They're making stories with these kinds of characters in the books. This world is nuts!!!

I work in education. We just got a shipment of government subsided books for grades 1-3. About 15% were classics. Another 10% were about politicians- only Democrats, except for one picture book about Teddy Roosevelt.
The rest all had themes of feminist rage, racial inequality, or inappropriate toeiva/sxuality/bathroom humor. The blatant ones in a way are easier to deal with than the ones with subtler messaging.

Yikes. It would be funny if you managed to sneak in some Tuttle Twins for balance.
