Some clinics don't allow you to see their psychiatrist unless you're also a patient of theirs for other services since psychiatrist is in high demand which they reserve for patients.

That is possible. We started w them about a year ago so I don't remember the whole process.
She is the only psychiatrist we saw on Medicaid - the others we paid for.

What kind of day program you trying to get?
Is that through opwdd? That’s only in New York I believe.
Are you sure you need a psychiatrist?!
That’s usually for meds. If it’s just for a diagnosis a psychologist or your reg doctor might be ok.
