My son is 12 and still wakes up in the morning and the sheets are very wet.

In this situation is it better that he goes to bed in pullups or that he doesn't wear pull ups and his bed sheets are really wet?

Also if my son finds it difficult to get up and gets quite upset when I wake him to go to toilet before I go to bed, is it best to stop waking him before I go to bed?

The home situation is difficult. My son has had therapy so therapy is not an option.

Any advice?

TIA

He's 12, he's a big boy. Yes, sometimes bed wetting persists but he is old enough to be included in the conversation and problem solving- would he rather wear a pull up or strip his linens? Is he motivated to overcome this? Does he want to be woken up, try an alarm, or whatever other method you are currently considering? It's not really something that can be addressed without his motivation or participation.
It's hard, I dealt with it with a child until close to that age. Good luck!
