We are planning on a family trip to Atlantic City with our kids ranging from toddler to teens. Someone mentioned it might not be the safest place. Has anyone been there and can tell me if we should cancel and consider someplace else?

DH & me were scheduled to go by ourselves but we canceled our plans because we heard that it has become unpleasant and unsafe. I don't see a reason to take children to Atlanta city, there's nothing for them to do there.

I disagree . I don’t like AC because it’s LC but I also don’t gamble. But the boardwalk. Has rides and games and of course there’s the beach. The hotels are themed and fun to walk around.

Thank you. But what do you think about safety of the area?
Which city is safer in that area? We want the beach, we want 6 flags
