I need some menu ideas for a DH that does not like milchigs! The only pasta dish he likes is lasagna, and pizza is “not real food”. Nothing cheesy or tuna-y. He does like fish though.

I have a delicious tilapia fingers recipe coated in tortilla chips. Very kid friendly too. I'll post recipe later.

Falafel with homemade pita

Salmon burgers

What about tuna steak? Or other fishes like bronzini?

That's basically what I'm doing. A different species of fish every night...
Maybe I'll do something with impossible meat one night.

Last year I told my husband it was his responsibility to come up with the menu because it's not my choice to have no Milchigs but this year he's too busy to think about it so I'm not bothering him.

You have 5 suppers to worry about, assuming you eat early on thursday before it becomes Rosh Chodesh.

Salmon
Tuna Steak
Fish and chips (breaded white fish like cod)
lasagna
Falafel night
Mexican night with refried beans, possibly fake meat
Quiche or frittata, roast potatoes, salad and a hearty soup like lentil soup

I would recommend using this opportunity to explore plant based substitutes and make some of his already favorite meals. There are so many good options and you can even put them on the grill.

I fry impossible beef patties and everyone in the house goes crazy over them, because we melt cheese on top!
I buy burger buns and all the toppings!

It calls for seasoned canned beans. Do you use plain or is there a kosher one? Thanks!

Anything with mushrooms is supposed to taste meaty
