How much do you pay to rent a bungalow/house upstate? If possible can you specify which it is and how many bedrooms. Do you pay separately for daycamp or is it included with the bungalow rental? Wondering if this is doable for me next year.

Ranges anywhere from 5k-20k and doesn’t include daycamp. Transportation and food are more expensive upstate as well.

4 bedroom summer homes go for as much as 25k for the summer 🤷♂️. Prices have more than doubled in the last couple of years.

Tnx to the stimulus check people recieved and were desperate to get out of the city due to lockdowns. People were willing to pay any price

A few years ago maybe; buying is also more expensive now. And maintenance/upkeep aren't free either.
The cheapest, dumpiest, smallest bungalows I know of go for around or upward of $5000 for 2 bedrooms and don't include day camp. But the cost is not the hardest part, finding one is. Cheap dumpy bungalows for low-maintenance people are a dying breed.

I am renting a beautiful 7 bedroom home upstate for sukkos,5 minute walk to ship and within eruv. Asking 10k- prices are higher this year
