I need help finding shabbos/dressy shabbos shoes that are flattering. I recently saw a picture of myself at a simcha, I was wearing a black dress with black shoes and my legs (nude stockings) looked fat and stubby.
I have another family simcha coming up and I want to get this right this time.
I am short and overweight, I have large calves and wide feet. What's the best styles or colors or links (that would be even more awesome) would look best on me? Or maybe I need a different kind of skirt or dress? I can't wear long because I'm short. Oh I don't know.

If you’re wearing a black dress and nude tights I would go with beige/tan/nude shoes. I agree, black dress nude tights and black shoes is not very flattering.
