Accidentally bought a 29 oz can tomato paste

Meant to buy purée.
What could I use with it? It’s a huge amount.
No time to divide it and freeze.

You can put it in the fridge and divide later this week.

Mix with water to make sauce and you can use it for pasta, pizza, soup...

Lachmagine uses up a fair amount. Maybe you can portion it into an ice cube tray and then store in the freezer in a ziplock bag? It's good for meat bases, it brings out the flavor of the meat.

Put it all in a big ziplock. Flatten it. And freeze. Break off pieces as needed.

Add about 1-2 cans water and about 3 cans milk, season well with sugar, salt, garlic, basil and bring to a bubble. Serve with cheesy toast.

Better to freeze in an ice cube tray. It's hard to break off pieces when something is frozen solid.

I freeze mine like this all the time. Not such large amounts but in a flat layer in a bag. It's pretty bendable and breakable.

Moroccan salmon. I make it every week for shabbos it’s yum. I throw in the standard size small can tomato paste but sometimes I make 2 pans when I have guest so then 2 cans… I add in olive oil, paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder. And broiled veggies (carrots, celery, peppers). And bake uncovered for about 18-20 mins.
