Lol! I don't make sweet potato pie but my mom does. I don't know her exact recipe but she uses a graham cracker crust and it has a walnut topping. So good.
Roasted - I cube and toss with oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder and roast at 400. I'll put that in salad with lettuce, grape tomatoes, avocado, red onion and honey mustard dressing.

Peel the potatoes.
Instead of slicing it, peel it.
Mix it with oil, pepper, salt, garlic powder.
Spread out onto baking sheet, bake on 400 till its crispy.
(mix the potatoes every 10-15 min)

I also do cubed and roasted. Here's my most common spice combo: Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder
I do a night where I melt cheese on tortillas and add a few more things including this.
They're also good roasted in wedges/fries and served with ketchup.

Oh I forgot! I've made twice baked sweet potatoes that are so good. Season halved sweet potatoes with oil and salt and roast cut side down until cooked through. Flip over, mash the flesh, and top with steamed broccoli and cheese. Bake until cheese is brown and bubbling.

does anyone ever make sweet potatoes with marshmallows anymore? BT, grew up eating that for Thanksgiving. aside from too sweet to eat too often, I'd still eat that once in awhile, especially if I can control the sweet (half the mmallows lol)
