I feel like my dd's school doesn't give the girls much geshmak and hislahavus in being a bas yisroel.
I wish the girls had a pride in who they are, in what they do, how they act, how they speaj, what they wear.
Obviously I can work on it with my own dc, but I wish it were emphasized in school.
Ashreinu mah tov chelkeinu!!!

If you feel your school does a good job of that, please post ideas of how.

Thnx!

Gan Yisroel (boro park) is amazing in this area. Every rosh chodesh and yom tov is exciting. Everyone is special and important because they have a neshama. Hashem loves us!!!

Bnos bracha (lakewood) teaches the girls lots of ahavas yosroel and pride to be a frum yid. The whole moto of the school is "I love Hashem and Hashem loves me". It's just the focus and it's in the atmosphere.

Bais Yaakov Machon Ora’s motto is “transmitting our mesorah with knowledge, passion, and pride”. It is an amazing school.

kudos to them for keeping to their vision. I think in theory a lot of schools think they’re doing this.

It’s nice for schools to have mottos but how do they put this into practice realistically?

Would love to hear more about this school!
Is it hard to get into?
(I’m new to Lakewood, my kid is still very little, but just wondering.)

yes I’ve heard GY parents talk about this a lot throughout the years. They’re amazed how their kids feel a relationship with yididhsjeit and Hashem.
