Dear ImaMother Sisterhood,

I am seeking any leads on Chedva Zilberfarb, may she rest in peace. I just read a book about her called "The Narrow Bridge."

She passed away in the 90s and was known as Chedva of Shemiras haLoshon. She inspired thousands of people to guard their tongues, speak positively and mindfully, and to say tehillim while she battled cancer as a young wife and mother.

She spoke in Hebrew and also in English (as she was traveling in America to obtain treatment). There may be tapes in existence.

Has anyone heard of her? Do you know if there is any audio of her online? Or do you have a tape of her speaking. I would love to listen to her.

Thank you!

Shaindy Kleinman spoke a lot about her.
I see there are some threads bumped about her speeches.

My mother said she remembers her speeches.
What did the poor woman want from us? just to shut our mouths so she can live. Why oh why didn't I just listen to her?!
She was one of the first movements about Loshon Hora in the USA.

You didn’t listen because you weren’t born yet when she went around speaking and begging people to stop speaking lh.
You can start now and it will be a zechus for someone else. These efforts always have good results. I promise you.

I think I was 8 or 9 years old when she came to speak to us
I too wish I would've been able to incorporate and execute on what she told us Sad

Would you mind sharing any links to speeches by Shaindy Kleinman's speeches? I have tried searching online, and I only found one speech online by Shaindy Kleinman.

Thank you!
