We need someone to extend a bedroom over the garage. Does anyone have a recommendation for a contractor to do this small job quickly and who’s reliable and good?

I don't have a recommendation but just an alert that adding a room over a garage is more complicated than you might think since the garage and the foundation were not originally built to have additional weight - the roof would also be impacted.

I'm told it doesn't take long. and we can't start working right away so we can work on the permits in the meantime.
