How far is it to Manhattan?
And where is there to eat nearby, and ideas?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it's considered a very nice, upscale place with gorgeous views of the city just across the river. It's also right next to the dock from where the boat to Manhattan leaves, so extremely convenient for transportation. You can get food in the city, Teaneck, or Passaic.
