I'm pretty new to Lakewood and am looking for a female gynecologist (not an obstetrician, I'm in my high 40's). Insurance is not an issue since I'm a member of United Refuah Healthshare and can use pretty much any doctor. I would be using her basically for the annual checkups so I can get my BC pill prescriptions. Good doctor and nice personality and bedside manner are a must! I don't mind traveling 15-20 minutes outside of Lakewood, if the office has a shorter waiting room time. TIA.

Dr Roman has a second location in Ocean around a half hour from Lakewood. Quieter and less wait.

I just called Dr. Roman's office. I'd have to go on a waiting list and get a call back in October. Any other recommendations?

If it's just routine stuff, you could go to the midwives at Avon. They are very knowledgeable and have a great bedside manner.

Dr appelbaum in oakhurst is a gynecologist , sweet, warm and knowledgeable!

I'm very happy with her, about half hour out of Lakewood

They have an office in brick and an office in Avon

I use them (for ob) and am very happy. They're all really nice.
