I'm working on a community event, and someone thought it would be a nice idea to provide little goody bags for the parents to take home to their kids after the event (the event is not for kids, adults only with a few speakers).
Any suggestions for what we can put in the bag?

Something related to the event. Maybe not food related. A small toy, coloring book, arts and crafts.

Candy or cookies or some other type of snack.
There are places that sell cheap "favors" like Oriental Trader but non-food would be hard in this kind of situation since there would be a wide range of ages for the children. Oriental Trader is useful when one is putting together goodie bags for children who are approximately the same age such as birthday parties.
