I barely do the ‘psychology’ part of noom.
It’s dividing my food into the proper categories - not too much of a certain category and making me aware when I eat too much of that category that has been helping me.

While I don’t track food, for my course last year in nutrition for sport and performance I assisted a 44 year old Mother of two who is an Ironman triathlete.

After struggling with my fitness pal to get the exact information I needed, I finally tried carb manager which I thought was highly usable.

Weight watchers
You scan the bar code of food items you want to eat and it adds itself to track how many points it is
You get a certain amount of points per day. The weight watchers app tracks how many points you ate.
