My shower doors used to be perfectly see through. Now they are cloudy with layers and layers of hard water stains. I tried spraying vinegar and wiping with paper towels but it only made it worse. Now there are gray steaks everywhere. Help

You are supposed to clean it regularly it might be that the glass is ruined by now.

I meant Windex*, which is great on glass.
And Clorox/bleach is great for hard water stains, but I haven't tried it on glass.

OOTBubby makes a great sparkling glass cleaner. 16 oz 90% alcohol, 16 oz warm water and just a drop of dawn dish soap dripped in. Mix it up in a spray bottle. Works much better than windex (but don't get it on wood).

Glass won't be ruined. Spray a limescale remover on and leave for a bit to work.
Here in England Viakal works very well.

And after that spray windex right after you shower- and squeezee it. Do not wipe it with anything. Just squeezee after each shower
