My son has been wearing Tzitzis for a year now and I can't figure out how to keep neat!
I've tried different brands, different sizes!
The small ones don't tuck into the waist and get messy. The big ones show through the collar.
Help!

Is the problem the strings or the rest?
Undershirt Tzitzis are great!
I cut the corners (where there's double material) to make a pocket and he tucks them in there. Some come with it cut already.

I use the undershirt tzitzis and pin up the back strings by tucking them into the corner pockets and pinning them

Cut the strings shorter - to the minimum length needed

Iv heard that you arent meant to cut them.
Or only with certain type of blade or with your teeth..?

Undershirt tzitzis for the win! I don’t mind the strings out because they’re neat, at all four corner. I buy the smallest size possible that is still comfortable for the child.

You're not supposed to use metal. I cut my kids tzitzis by rubbing each string on the corner of a stone windowsill.

Yes.
I'm not referring to the strings.
The store cuts it for me.

When my son turned 3 I was going crazy that his tzizis were constantly going all the way forward or back. My cousin gave me the idea to tie the 2 sets of strings on each side with an elastic.
Works great

I don't think its a problem to cut the strings for little kids. Thats what I do. Figured it out by boy #5.

I also cut the strings but it wasn't enough. Apparently you are allowed to cut with a ceramic scissor (that's what the stores use).
I purchased one on AliExpress for 6usd and I use that at home anytime some strings get longer than others

It's not the strings.
They are short.
The tzitzis keeps shifting

The tshirt tzitzis has slits by the sides, I don’t see how they can lay wrong on a belly?

The bottom of the 3 hits at his belly button.
The top of the 4 sticks out of his shirt at the neck

I have the same question as you op. Both my boys get Tzitzis bunching at the neck.
I’m trying to understand what the clear elastics do. You tie the 2 on the right together and the 2 on the left together? Do you have to tie them every day? Or keep the elastics in?

That makes sense, thanks. Have you tried different brands? What about the mesh sports type, if it comes in his size?
Is it possible to alter the size 4s so it fits him better?
