You can replace egg with non dairy yogurt or cream cheese.

I use the Best Honey Cake recipe from imamother for many years with a half a cup of applesauce instead of eggs

How's the texture without eggs? I find cookies are often more forgiving about substituting eggs than cakes.

It’s really nice! I get lots of compliments and it gets eaten quickly in my house! I would say not as fluffy as cake with eggs
