My son is in a modern-ish yeshiva in Israel for the year. They have a very long break over sukkos. He's never been to Israel and isn't yet comfortable figuring out how to get places. I'm trying to encourage him to make plans for daytrips or activities over chol hamoed--any ideas that might be good for kids that age, not crazy expensive and not crazy difficult to get to?
