I am due in a few months, and my nephew just got engaged. I will be about 1 month postpartum at the wedding, give or take. Can anyone help me find nursing friendly gowns or dresses? Wedding is in Lakewood, if that’s makes a difference.

Can I wear this to a nephew’s wedding in the winter in Lakewood?

https://www.pinkblushmaternity.....dress

Maybe I would shorten it, or make it a hi-low

Not sure that it's dressy enough for a wedding!

Hmmm….I’ll have to keep looking. I’m not really a fancy person. Can it be dressed up with some jewelry and a sheitel?

I've heard good things about this brand, maybe something here works?

I got a nursing maxi dress from Pinkblush for my sister-in-law's wedding a few months postpartum. It wasn't as fancy as the gowns the rest of the family was wearing, but I've been able to rewear it, and was comfortable, which for me is the most important thing. I was wearing baby in a carrier and leaving to nurse every half hour anyways, so very much wasn't the center of attention.

I noticed that this dress is made out of rayon. I have a rayon cardigan and it creases horribly just hanging in the closet. Just be aware of this. I used to have to iron my jacket every time I wore it. Now I just leave it out of the closet, hanging on the doorknob.

Seriously, just wear a two piece. Ball gown/maxi skirt and fancy top.

The deep v necks on the nursing friendly dresses will look off in Lakewood.

Also, these gowns will not be kind to your figure if you still have baby bulge.

Or just wear a regular dress that flatters you post-baby (midi or high lo type) and take it off completely when you need to nurse. It’s one night only. I have done it.

Would you be able to post a link?

It's sold out, but: https://www.pinkblushmaternity.....dress

The family was wearing light pink. I wore it to a Lakewood wedding with a cropped, sleeveless shell underneath.
