We are new to Cricuting and vinyl...we tried using regular Cricut transfer tape (not the strong type-the regular one) and it picked up the vinyl but we could not burnish it off onto our project. It simply would not let go of it.
Has anyone found cricuts transfer tape to be too sticky, or are we soung something wrong ?(I dont think we are...)
Is there a different brand thats better?

I use one from amazon, very happy with it.
Ypu can make the cricut less sticky by sticking it a,few times on your clothing

Did u try using the scraper tool to go over the vinyl? If u scrape it well, especially the edges it will release it better.

Try getting the stick off by putting it on a clean towel or cloth a few times.

Most people only recommend the Cricut transfer tape for Cricut smart vinyl as the smart materials are a bit thinner so they need more tack.
