I made a roast (with a recipe I found on immother) that I am planning on serving on the second night of RH. I am going to freeze it so it will be fresh.
2 questions:
What’s the best way to freeze it? I cooked it in a deep aluminium pan
Do I slice it now when it’s cooling down or freeze it whole and slice when it’s defrosted?
Thanks!

It should be very cold when you slice it, otherwise the slices will fall apart. Refrigerate it for a few hours before you slice. You can freeze it later today.

Great thank you, I’m a newbie.. one more question
How do I know when it’s ready? Should I be soft? I cooked it for the time it said in the recipe but the meat seemed very tough and it took effort to cut into so I put it back in the oven and have been checking it periodically..
I originally had it in for 2.5 hours on 180 c and it’s prob been another 45 mins or so since..
