I’ve made yapchik before but this time I want to make it in the crock pot so I can serve at the meal on Rosh hashana.
What is the best method to cook it?
How do I layer it and should it be on high or low?
Also do I cook the meat in advance?
Thanks

I do a layer of sliced onions, then meat (raw), sprinkle with salt and pepper, pour kugel mixture on top. I always cook on low.
