How many shabbos clothing do your kids have?

My 7 year old has 5 or 6 dresses but I have my eye out for more if I find for the right price

A lot. Otherwise I’m always scrambling. I try to buy at least some of them on sale from previous season.

1 brand new expensive one, matching for all kids. 1 cheaper one can be from Ali or from last year or passed down. 1 shabbos Robe.

Yes. I don’t think the question is how many dresses. Shouldnt it be how much do you spend per child? Because I shop on sale and I spent max 125 on all these dresses (total) I think closer to $100 . Some people prefer to buy 1 or 2 dresses with the same budget.

Your right. I spend that amount for 2 dresses. But what do you do with so many dresses? And where do you keep them. I don't have any room in my closets.

I shoot for at least 4 so I don't have to worry about washing if needed when all the yom tovim come at once with shabbos in between.

3- I have a toddler and a baby. I really want one more casual one.
1 is delicate for yt/ upcoming simcha
2 pretty and wearable for a reg shabbos
I want something that’s the equivalent of a robe. This felt tight over rh because all are very outfit like. Not super comfy and the baby needs tights.

You only have room in your closet for 2 dresses?
What do we do with that many dresses? Rotate them, of course. So between October and March there are let’s say 25 shabbosim. This would mean she wears one per month, approximately. She’s never bored and is excited to get dressed each shabbos

My kids have 1 shabbos outfit and 1 shabbos robe. They like to wear their robes and end up wearing their outfits a handful of times per season. Last winter they wore their outfits maybe 4 times. In the summer, they donl get dressed more often so they have 2 outfits and a robe. I don't see the need for little kids to have more than 2 shabbos outfits.

I don’t see how your preference to buy your kids one outfit should have any impact on what others choose to buy.
