ISO Easy to bake recipe for 8 yr old boy

my son decided he wants to bake. I offered that he can make muddy budies but he says he wants to bake something real. (he doesnt really even like cake but he wants to bake)
it's a few hours to shabbos and I'm not in the mood of taking out a mixer or even hand blender.
any ideas?

Probably too late for now, but if he wants to do some baking next week or for Succos, this is a great recipe that comes together with just a wooden spoon to mix it.

1 ½ cups flour
⅓ cup cocoa powder
1 cup sugar (or a little less)
Salt
1tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
5 Tbps oil
1 Tbsp white vinegar
1 cup coffee or orange juice
Handful of chocolate chips

Mix dry ingredients
Add wet ingredients and mix gently
Stir in chocolate chips
Bake at 350 for half an hour

Recipe is for 8×8 inch pan, but it doubles easily for a 9×13 pan. Add an extra ten minutes or so cooking time.
