Do they really make fasting easier? Has anyone here actually felt a difference between fasting with/without them?

I tried them one year and had the worst fast ever. I ended up in emergency room the next day with a rapid heartbeat.
Just stay away from coffee and drink tons and tons a few days before
Orange juice, lemon juice, honey and salt is a good homemade electrolyte drink
And no sugar the day the fast starts as it could give you a bigger blood sugar drop during the fast.

I take it each fast. I believe that I have easier fasts with it.

I took it one year for Tisha b’av and was sick as a dog, puking non stop the entire fast. I have never had a fast anywhere near as bad. I wouldn’t go near that stuff.

I also had a rapid heart rate like someone else said they did, and was very dizzy.

I take the ones that are distributed fron the toronto kollel. They have slow release Tylenol, advil and caffeine options. I usually take advil and caffeine, but when pregnant I take the Tylenol. They are a complete game changer!

Yes came in here to say that! Since I started taking the slow release advil I have a different fast entirely. No side effects at all only advantages bh

I also tried them once and it was my worst fast ever. Who knows what’s in them? We’re so busy being scared of vaccines but take a product that nobody even is regulating just because they say it helps us fast??

It's plant and herb based.
Not everything which is regulated is always safe.
For years I use kali tzom.
I also thought it was just plain advertisement for nonsense. Once I tried it never want to be without!

Being plant and herb based doesn't make it inherently safe. Especially not during pregnancy.
