I don’t know if I ate something off or I caught a bug. But bottom line, tachlis, I am really not feeling well.

I have the worst stomach cramps and diarrhea and I cannot imagine fasting tomorrow night.

I just made an appt at my GP for tomorrow morning to perhaps get an IV drip before Yom Kippur.

These things usually pass really fast so hopefully I will be feeling better tomorrow.
But just feeling so horrible and also anxious for the fast.

Any suggestions.

My throat hurts and I have intense post nasal drip whenever I lie down. Ugh this sucks! I need to be able to drink water to get through it.

Praying our maladies will disappear before YK.

Ended up going to the doctor. Who recommended one iv of fluids today and tomorrow and some medication to manage the nausea and diarrhea.

So hoping to feel better by the fast.

I agree. If you just needed IV fluids and have resolving significant GI distress, the stringent halachah might be NOT fasting.
