It feels almost impossible I broke my fast about an hour ago and I’m like faint and can barely move. How can people get into a taxi to the airport with luggage and kids etc. I’m so curious if people do it and how they doing it

We did it once. Never again. Dh doesn't get why, because in a year like this one it's much better than the next day when you get to Israel. But for people who aren't great fasters, it's very very hard. We had to be in a car half hour after dh got home from shul, so nobody really ate enough. And then it got dehydrating.

The people I know that are flying tonight, are taking a midnight flight. I'd never be able to do it. I feel awful.

I was thinking the same OP, I don't get how people do it after a long fast.

Call me nasty, but I just don't feel bad for all those people going to Israel for Sukkos!

Some people feel fine after a fast. I'm not flying anywhere but certainly could have if I had to. I would avoid flying straight after Yom Kippur because it would be stressful for me but not because of the fast per se.

I could fly B"H right after a fast. I feel 100% fine. No problem at all.
I wish I was going! I'm not, but I know people who are. I am sure they are good fasters.
