I wish….Not that lucky.

My friend had a baby today though. We were both due in 2-3 weeks.

Fasted all day at 39.5 weeks. No cramping or anything. Honestly was one of my easiest fast. Hung out on couch and napped for 2 hours. My pelvis hurts now but still no contractions.

2 posters wrote about being in 31/32 weeks and having contractions/ not feeling good.
I hope they feel better.
Having that early is not a good surprise.

My Rav doesn’t allow fasting up to the seventh month.
(Logic is that in months 8-9 it’s okay to go into labor.)

Yep, you're in the really hard part. I'm sure you know this but just as a reminder, it's very good for your baby that they're still cooking! Feel good.

Yeah I'm one of them. 32 weeks, contractions started last hour of the fast and they're almost gone BH. Not labor BH BH, just very dehydrated and weak.

Over twenty yeas ago my baby due on Rosh Hashana still had not made an appearance by Yom Kippur. I fasted the whole day and didn't feel so much as a twinge. I was induced the next morning ( as per doctor's instructions and with rabbini in approval)
