Good Vuch.

Started to read the Sukkos editions but before I was halfway thru one of the magazines I got severe wrist pain and I am now wearing a wrist band. They are so heavy. Help. There has got to be a better way.

Carefully with an X-Acto knife, open the magazine towards the middle and sliced through to make the magazine until two more manageable sections.

They should offer a premium version for YT without the ads. I would pay significantly more for that.

It's crazy how you're really paying twice. Once for the actual magazine, and once for the ads. Usually an ad-heavy publication is free, as you are the "product" that advertisers are paying for. These magazines are collecting from both ends of the chain. The succos and Pesach editions should really be the same price as the weekly magazine.

So I just don't buy them.

Look at the bright side, we now discovered there is an alcohol infused sorbet, I mean, wasn't that alone worth the hundreds of pages skimmed until reaching something readable?

I enjoy ads too. At least there are new ones to look at, not the same same weekly ads that have been running for months.

I lean my head/ cheek on my wrist, resting my elbow on the bed, when reading in bed. Have you tried that? I rarely hold my books/magazines!

PS Mishpacha page 450 has a nice article about my dad.

Thanks for the idea about cutting the magazine into sections with the box cutter knife.
Great solution!

The amount of content in Mishpacha is actually crazy. I read it over YK and Shabbos and I'm still not done and I'm not a slow reader. Huuuuge articles. Safier's article could be a small book on its own. So yea, there are ad's but actually not as many as usual and the amount of content is literally insane.
