Tea lights in the sukkah. We have a large stone window ledge not near the table, and keep the trissim down. And have nobody small to knock them.

In the sukkah, tea lights inside a glass bowl. We all eat the whole meal in there and spend most of the evening in it, plus dh and the kids sleep in the sukkah, so that seems appropriate. Nobody is in the house during the evening (other than to fetch things or use the bathroom).
We don't leave the kids in the sukkah unsupervised.
I have to say, normally my glass bowl method works well, but this year a gust of wind blew out my candles . Maybe I should buy a chanukka "aquarium" for next year.

In the sukkah on a side table. The side table is not in the traffic pattern. I use low, squat candleholders that are much shorter than my regular ones.
