Our building is heated with #6 oil, food cooked with gas, coffee brewer heated with electricity and leftovers heated with microwaves. We used to use wood, or dried cow dung when wood was scarce, before we moved from the farm to the big city during the Industrial Revolution. And you?

Change the word "used" to accustomed. Makes more sense. Took me a while to understand

I suppose my hands are more heat sensitive than my mouth. I can bite off and chew things that are too hot to hold in my hands, which is why I hold them in a napkin (or use cutlery)
