Just bought the steam iron- was so excited to start using it but I’m having some trouble figuring it out.
The iron plate itself is not getting that hot- is it broken or is that the way it’s supposed to work? My old, regular iron, got much hotter. Or is the steam supposed to do the work? If so, how often to you release steam? Am I supposed to be pressing the button the whole time?
Please help me out here!

The plate doesn’t get hot it irons with steam. You press the button while you iron to get steam. Try it it irons really well and quick
