We also make kiddush in the sukkah but it's only to gezegen zich from it, not because we eat there. Chassidish.

Chassidish, Satmar. We make kiddush in the succah and have some cakes / pastries including the customary "kindel".
The men "gezaigen" from the succah.
The seudah is eaten inside the house.

I voted yes. Many yeshivish people eat in the Succah on Shemini Atzeres (us included) as long as it's not artic-cold.
(I grew up JPF/heimish and we did if the weather was gorgeous, otherwise no.)

We do at night, and kiddush in the day.
Not really Chassidish but lots of Chassidish minhagim so maybe this is one.

We ate in the sukkah and finished our daytime seudah before it began to rain. If the rain had started earlier we would have finished our meal inside the house. American BT Yeshivish.
