HI! Every year (almost) my husband and I go to Orlando for a short vacation, we rent a villa in one of the communities from Sunday to Thursday and we get to relax and just spend time together in a private pool, prepare meals and enjoy outdoor grills, bike riding etc... we basically outgrew going to the theme parks... weve done that way too much already... Now we enjoy the peaceful and no rara part of the trip and to just UNPLUG....
This year im looking if we can do something else for a change and stay within a similar budget... around 2k, including airfare and lodging. We'd appreciate the warm weather, private pool but maybe more nature and maybe kosher eatery in the area. But I know when I think of Miami, Hollywood or Boca Raton were talking about a more expensive trip probably.... I would love to enjoy being next to a beach though but beach needs to be really secluded or even private... my husband will not appreciate a beach with any people in sight.... Any ideas location wise and lodging wise??
TIA

You should be able to rent a no-frills apt in north Miami or Miami Beach for a similar budget

Happy to.
Phoenix is a large city with tons of options for both indoor entertainment as well as world-class outdoor recreation. Tons of hiking opportunities over beautiful desert and mountain terrain. The weather in the winter is generally in the 50s - 60s. It also has accommodation choices ranging from top of the line luxury hotels to simple lodges. There is a vibrant Jewish community with plenty of kosher restaurants and food available for purchase in the local supermarkets.
Scottsdale is a suburb of Phoenix, with a higher end feel and many more excellent resort and hotel options. It also has a Jewish community and several kosher restaurants.
Las Vegas obviously has lots of casinos and resorts, but it is also a big city with much more to do than just that. It also has two Jewish communities, one on the west side of town (Summerlin) and one to the south (Henderson), and plenty of kosher restaurants to choose from. Surrounding Las Vegas are beautiful mountains with incredible hiking opportunities, plus Lake Mead which has a lovely shoreline and great boating.
New Orleans is a beautiful, charming city that has tons of history, interesting things to do and see. Plenty of excellent resorts, is close by to several beaches on the Gulf coast, and has a few kosher restaurants as well.
San Diego has the best weather in the world and provides easy access to some incredible beaches along the Pacific coast, with tons of excellent places to stay. There is a small Jewish community with a few options for kosher food.

Lots of kosher restaurants for one… and I believe there are beaches that are less busy… especially early in the morning

Why don't you google the types of attractions which are available at each suggested locations and see if any of those things appeal to you?

Did you look into Cancun? Or Playa del Carmen Mexico. There are tons of hotels. The main ones are much more expensive. We stayed in a cheaper one further down the hotel strip, but still walking distance to chabad and restaurants. We took a fancier room in the hotel and pretty much had a private beach. Some resorts have a few pools, or private hot tubs. Then there are the popular ones with private pools (Banyan tree, Nizuc, Hyatt Ziva) but they are a lot more expensive.
